Each and Every Person Is Capable of a Thriving Literacy Life…

We believe each and every person: child, teen, adult, and elderly person is a capable of a thriving literary life. We know that each person encounters a vast array of literacy experiences and it varies development of one’s literacy journey. It is a process and a continuum that may not align with standard developmental scales or generalized milestones (Scarborough).  Similar to our fingerprints, each literary life or as we call it, “literacy profile” is distinctively its’ own unique progression (growth). We will use a person’s literacy profile to build interventions that disrupt the barriers which cease or derail literacy progression.

Although all of our interventions are grounded and supported by the science and research of reading, writing, speaking, and listening (The Reading League), we begin with a comprehensive study to construct person’s literacy profile. Next, we celebrate and study a person’s literary profile thus far, in order to identify the strengths, attitudes, and understimulated strands of literacy development. Empowered by the knowledge and understanding of one’s literacy profile, interventions are applied to enhance and accelerate reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Our literacies shape our identity and often determine accessibility to our future goals and dreams (Morgan and Wu). All people benefit from a thriving literacy life. It is our mission to support any child, teen, and or adult, seeking support in the areas of academic, vocational, and community growth through literacy at a reasonable cost. We will work with students, families, teachers, employers, PCA’s, and any person ready for literary acceleration. We will apply our experience, knowledge, and evidence grounded research (SOR) to enhance and use one’s literacy life to achieve your personal, academic, and vocational goals.
